Password sharing and account set up is part of any initial contract with a Virtual Assistant. When we're setting up your systems and supporting your business we will require access to ensure we can help you as efficiently as possible. Ensuring that we keep your passwords safe during this process it of the utmost of importance.

We never share via a single source
One way in which we protect your passwords is by ensuring that both a username and password are never shared across a single platform. This layer or protection ensures that if one section of our system is compromised then your passwords will still be safe.
We store passwords in a safe location
Once we have both a username and password, we store these in a secure LastPass account. This is an encrypted password storage system that alerts us if there are ever any breaches in their security.
LastPass also provides real-time security alerts, notifying us immediately if there is any potential breach or vulnerability in their system. This proactive approach enables us to take immediate action to maintain the integrity of your accounts.
We help you update your security
Beyond just storing your passwords, we encourage all our clients to enhance their own safety. Setting up your own password management systems, creating stronger and more reliable passwords so that your accounts are secure.
Here are some additional steps we encourage our clients, and yourself, to take:
Use unique passwords for different accounts to prevent unauthorized access in case one is compromised
Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) wherever possible for added protection
Regularly update passwords to minimize security risks
Avoid using easily guessable passwords (such as birthdates or common words).
You business passwords need to remain safe and secure for the protection of your business and your clients.
