"I'd love to have more time".
"How can I create more time?"
"I want to be able to work smarter and still have time for me and my family!"
Those are just a few of the things we hear as Virtual Assistants! And.. as much as we could answer, "we can help, get a VA!" there are some apps that we can also recommend (and that we use) to help increase your productivity as a business owner.
So, what apps can help to increase your productivity? Let's take a look.
Apps to Increase Your Productivity
Trello
Trello is a productivity powerhouse is a favourite amongst the Virtual Diamond team.
It keeps your tasks organised on lists and cards pinned on to aesthetically pleasing boards
It's great for managing projects or bringing team members together to brainstorm ahead of meetings
It's also the perfect place to create to-do lists whilst watching the handy status bar fill up as each task is checked off.
Slack
Slack is a messaging platform for communication within teams and organizations. It's made up of organised spaces for anything you're working on. It's a great platform to share ideas with colleagues, business associates and clients.
Calendly
Calendly is a fantastic booking app where potential clients (or indeed anyone you'd like to have a meeting with) can schedule meetings and appointments with you.
You can share your calendar (you can indicate times available) and, by sending a link, people can find a slot and book in, without you needing to manually check your diary. It also creates a pop-up alerting you when someone's booked an appointment with you.
We use it at Virtual Diamond and we can't recommend it enough.
Harvest
Harvest is a time-tracking app. Now, even though this may not essentially lessen your workload, it's brilliant to use in tracking exactly how much time you're dedicating to work (and how much time you really are spending scrolling social media!).
It also offers a great insight in to your work habits, a handy app for helping to bill clients correctly and a way to record what you've worked on and how much time was spent on it.
There are so many other fantastic apps to increase productivity for you and your business. Which ones would you recommend?
